BDS Sponsorship provides diverse sponsorship opportunities for a genre-defying live act

27/07/2022

Fusing the unlikely yet powerful genres of street dance and classical ballet, Beats on Pointe brings art to the public by performing on the streets. With choreography spanning everything from contemporary breaking to hip-hop and jazz, performances are interspersed with comedy sketches, percussive breaks, beat-boxing and singing. With a headline show at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe and a range of dates across the UK, Beats on Pointe has developed a strong following since its debut back in 2016.

Providing a variety of sponsorship opportunities, BDS have created a presentation that outlines how Beats on Pointe offers sponsors the unique chance to get involved with brands in sectors as far apart as beauty and clothing. Every bit as exciting as the brands themselves, sponsors have the opportunity to have their name presented in street dancing performances and fashion shows. The presentation materials also reveal how Beats on Pointe has garnered the attention of international brands such as Heineken, Rolex, and Formula 1.

Recently approached by FEVER, a global ticketing platform, Beats on Pointe is set to become a strategic partner that will host shows across the globe. In addition to this exciting partnership, the act is also poised to be part of a TV documentary and feature length film.

By getting involved with Beats on Pointe, sponsors will have the opportunity to:

  • Obtain visibility through social media coverage to a large following
  • Receive tickets to performances
  • Attend meet and greet sessions with the performers
  • Host bespoke public performances
  • Enlist the performers for fashion shows and promotions

Ultimately, the sponsorship opportunities with Beats on Pointe are every bit as exciting as the performance itself. To find out more about the ways that BDS Sponsorship can transform your business with a powerful sponsorship strategy, simply get in touch today.

Need Startup Funding? – BDS can help!

27/01/2022

When tech startups are looking for investment, they often turn to BDS because of our ability and track record in supporting these types of companies. We have a long track record of helping early-stage businesses, especially startups. We also help startups who are either seeking additional investment to launch or require further investment to grow.

Often sponsorship isn’t the correct or most helpful strategy at a given stage of growth. But there are other funding options and opportunities available. We know about and understand startups and their needs at any stage of business development. We can help develop a strategy that is right for your business.

If you’re looking to grow your tech startup by seeking sponsorship or need further investment at any stage of your growth, we can help assess your strengths, preparing you to get the right funding option, giving you the best chance of success.

Startups make decisions based on data, and investors are no different. We pride ourselves in helping startups accurately value their brand, data and potential. Having accurate data available makes a hugely positive difference to startups in their conversations with potential investors.

Here at BDS, we use our considerable commercial, and digital experience, to offer consultancy and support to startups looking for funding. We help startups by revealing the value of their data across multiple revenue streams. We also help accelerate their search for investment by mapping out opportunities, advising on business models and building business cases.

Financing is a key component in the growth of any tech startup, so if you have a tech product or service that needs funding to take off, or even more money to get it off the ground BDS can help.

Helping SuperSix Racing prove value to investors

BDS Sponsorship has recently been reemployed by SuperSix Racing to undertake an investor-focused data valuation in preparation for pursuing additional investment. SuperSix is developing a 21st-century version of horse racing combining both Real and Virtual Horse Racing (using the Unreal Engine).

The SuperSix startup is at a key stage and BDS was commissioned to undertake a full commercial evaluation of the company both as it stands and taking into consideration its potential. During this process, we looked into all relevant areas of value including the existing investor relationships, media partnerships, sponsorship arrangements, product development milestones and growth strategies.

The focus was also placed on establishing the scope and value of the opportunity outside of SuperSix’s own target markets to include an evaluation of data and technology licensing opportunities, sports gaming cross-promotion and other revenue-generating strategies such as advertising revenue, brand franchise and hosting third-party digital events as well as valuing the data SuperSix would collect.

BDS were then able to give SuperSix Racing a five-year revenue financial forecast and an exit value. We are delighted to have been able to assist SuperSix Racing over the last few months and will continue to offer support as they enter their next phase of development. We will be working with the company over the next few months to develop a roadmap for growth that has been informed by our findings.

And as a result of the consultation, reports, data and support we provided SuperSix, their investment advisors are now in very detailed conversations with potential investors.

As a team, we have extensive knowledge and expertise of sports rights, content development and management, sponsorship marketing and brand licensing across both the commercial and amateur sporting markets. But our expertise and experience go far beyond sports sponsorship. We also regularly work with the arts, charities, public sector organisations, venues, transport initiatives and environmental and sustainability projects.

Struggling to obtain investment for your startup?

We have worked with over 2,000 clients over the last 45 years, many of whom we have seen enjoy phenomenal growth.

So, if you’re a startup looking for financial backing and are considering approaching investors for support, it’s important that you first undertake an investor focussed data valuation. This will help to give you a realistic idea of the potential value of your business and ensure that when you do speak to investors or sponsors, both sides are aware of what is on offer. Get in touch with us today so we can discuss how we can work together.

BDS appointed by Westminster City Council to work on Marble Arch Mound

15/07/2021

Always excited by the prospect of working on cutting-edge projects, BDS is proud to announce that it has developed the sponsorship strategy for the Marble Arch Mound. Part of a brand new development, the Marble Arch Mound is a 25m high temporary mound that will provide visitors with outstanding views of the capital’s West End.

An initiative launched by Westminster Council, the innovative concept was pioneered by Dutch architectural firm MVRDV and is expected to rejuvenate tourist activity in Oxford Street and the surrounding areas.

The Marble Arch Mound at night

With work now underway, the Mound will feature an impressive viewing platform nestled in mature trees and plants. Visitors to the attraction will reach this platform via a path that winds its way up the Mound’s southern slope before descending into the hall which is planned to host exhibitions and displays inside of its hollow core.

Designed with sustainability in mind, the temporary structure has been styled to leave behind as little waste as possible upon its removal. The team at MVRDV have also committed to reusing the structural as well as the cosmetic materials involved in the project. More specifically, the wood, soil, grass, leaves and trees will all find new uses in nearby gardens and recreational areas.

Tickets are now on sale to visit Marble Arch Mound, and BDS is delighted to have played a vital role in supporting a sustainable initiative that aims to bring the capital back to life once restrictions have been lifted.

BDS, on behalf of Diabetes UK, have developed a unique Sponsorship Proposition for their partnership with Fitbit

17/03/2021

Fitbit and Diabetes UK have launched a three-year partnership to help people live healthier and more active lifestyles.

The two organisations will work together to promote how healthy lifestyles can play a role in the prevention of type 2 diabetes and management of all types of diabetes. BDS worked closely with Diabetes UK to develop the sponsorship element of this multi-faceted partnership, creating a new mutually beneficial approach to sponsorship across the charity’s main challenge events, which starts with their flagship event – One Million Step Challenge.

One Million Step Challenge, as the name suggests, challenges participants to take one million steps over the course of three months during July to September. With the support of Fitbit, the event will be promoted to a wider audience, to extend its reach. It’s a fantastic way to encourage people to establish healthy habits, whilst raising money for the charity.

In addition to this challenge, the partnership will focus on recruiting volunteers to share their stories and showcase how a more active lifestyle can help reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, or help minimise the impact of living with any type of the condition. The partnership will also deliver a series of initiatives to encourage healthy behaviour change throughout 2021 and the coming years.
