Property Investor Awards

BDS Sponsorship have been appointed by the Property Investor Awards as the sponsorship agency assigned to develop a sponsorship strategy and to also create the sponsorship sales materials.

The Property Investors Awards attracts respected investors and experts from organisations who service the property investment industry including CEO’s of banks, mortgage companies, crowd funding platforms, insurance firms, media outlets and many more. With over 550 property investors attending from across the UK for a night of entertainment and celebration – the evening provides the opportunity to look back on successes from the last year, positively positioning high calibre investors for another year of growth and achievement.

The event provides sponsors with significant opportunities to engage with a number of HNWI. The PIA attendees have a collective property worth of £2.82 billion.

PIA has a strategy to grow the number of events in their portfolio year on year. Through: webinars, leadership events and a Great Property Debate event.

The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) appoint BDS

BDS have been appointed by the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) to undertake the sponsorship sales for the naming rights of Britain’s largest exhibition and conference centre.

Located just outside Birmingham, the NEC is 80% larger than the next largest UK exhibition centre and hosts over 500 business events a year and 75% of the events are B2B. Welcoming visitors for over 40 years, the NEC hosts a mixture of exhibitions, conventions and live events.

The NEC hosts over 30% of all UK SME’s each year with 75% of B2B event attendees being senior decision makers.

The NEC is owned by the NEC Group who also own and operate: ICC Birmingham, Genting Arena, Arena Birmingham, the Vox Conference Centre and also operate the national ticketing agency, The Ticket Factory. NEC Group owned venues host over 750 events with over 7.5 million people visiting each year.

Golden Hinde

Working in the capacity of sponsorship agency, BDS Sponsorship have been appointed by Golden Hinde to develop their sponsorship strategy and their sponsorship sales collateral.

The ‘Golden Hinde’ is a full size reconstruction of Sir Francis Drake’s ship (the ship that circumnavigated the globe). It is situated on the South Bank and is located in a prime location that has a footfall of over 11 million per annum. The location is directly opposite where Sir Francis Drake lived in Cannon Street.

The ship offers: Guided Tours / Workshops, Overnight /Daytime Living History, Educational Visits for schools / groups, and Private functions. The ship is about to undergo significant refurbishment and there are plans to build a visitor centre to become the Sir Francis Drake visitor experience.

Power of Video

BDS Sponsorship have been appointed by Power of Video to develop their company sponsorship proposition and sponsorship collateral.

Power of Video is a conference for ‘would be’ vloggers with Masterclass sessions, Presentations and Workshops from world famous Vloggers such as Casey Neistat and Shonduras. In just two years the conference has obtained 40 million views from the Vlogs posted by the Vloggers in attendance. It is set to return to Belfast at the beginning of June 2018 with a new festival format and an exciting line-up of activities and speakers to celebrate the rising power of online video.

The conference is a full day experience showcasing the power of video from people who work with global brands, create daily vlogs and make content for a living. Power of Video have brought together a wide range of creators from YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook who will share their stories and secrets behind their engaging content and how to build an audience.

Farnborough International

BDS have recently completed a sponsorship strategy for Farnborough International and their new permanent Exhibition and Conference venue due to open in spring 2018. Specifically aiming to provide a global stage for businesses where a history rich in pioneering visionaries meets with cutting edge innovation and with 150 years of combined experience, their venue team works alongside the operations team who use their expertise to organise, run and deliver the world famous air-show. Farnborough International have been operating events in Hall 5 and the temporary Hall 4 for the past eight years.

The new permanent Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre is set to become the pre-eminent events venue in South East England, building on Farnborough’s firmly-established reputation as a business events destination as well as being the home to the most famous Airshow in the world.

Factory

BDS have been appointed by Factory, Manchester as their exclusive sponsorship agency to develop a comprehensive and overarching sponsorship strategy for the new £110 million performance arts venue to be built on the former site of Granada Studios in Manchester city centre with the goal of becoming one of the world’s top performance venues. It is being developed by Manchester Quays Ltd (MQL), a development partnership between Allied London and Manchester City Council, and is intended to give the north a flagship culture venue. The centre will include a series of flexible arts and performance spaces while providing a permanent home to the Manchester International Festival. Its name comes from Factory Records, the independent record label founded by Tony Wilson.

With the venue set to open in September 2020, the entire space will cover 13,500 square metres and will be flexible enough to accommodate combined audiences of up to 6,500.
