BDS have been appointed by Factory, Manchester as their exclusive sponsorship agency to develop a comprehensive and overarching sponsorship strategy for the new £110 million performance arts venue to be built on the former site of Granada Studios in Manchester city centre with the goal of becoming one of the world’s top performance venues. It is being developed by Manchester Quays Ltd (MQL), a development partnership between Allied London and Manchester City Council, and is intended to give the north a flagship culture venue. The centre will include a series of flexible arts and performance spaces while providing a permanent home to the Manchester International Festival. Its name comes from Factory Records, the independent record label founded by Tony Wilson.

With the venue set to open in September 2020, the entire space will cover 13,500 square metres and will be flexible enough to accommodate combined audiences of up to 6,500.
